The Ornithopter is a self-propelled flying device and psionic antenna with a wingspan of eight feet. It is collapsible in the same way as a
Folding Boat, though its owner can deploy it telepathically rather than by voice. It can be controlled by its owner telepathically to a distance of no more than 180'.
The ornithopter can also be strapped to the rear of its owner's belt and deployed as a weak flight apparatus. It can eliminate falling damage from any height above 30' and halve any damage from a lower elevation than that. It can allow an owner weighing 50 lbs. or under to fly at a rate of 20' per round, 100 lbs. or less 10' per round, 150 lbs. or less 5' per round and can allow an owner of 200 lbs. or less to hover indefinitely.
