Founding

The Elven people officially formed a governing council to facilitate a standardized rule of law. The capital city was decided to be the settlement at Crystal Lake.

While the bulk of the Elven population remained largely nomadic, a formal council was assembled to give more orderly structure to Elven society. With the need to contact such a widely scattered people, a Druid named Ardentine Stormglory offered to reach out to them through nature itself. Each of the Elven communities felt Ardentine's presence in nature, urging them to send representatives to Crystal Lake to take part in the council, which they did. But unexpectedly, the effort to send out that summons triggered an Ascension, and Ardentine became the first Elven Ascended. Once the council was assembled and the representatives became aware of his feat, the decision to make him King followed swiftly. As the most frequented of the settlements among all Elves, Crystal Lake was picked as the capital.
