Dramhèadh (dram- haid)
Translating roughly to 'the warming drink' Dramhèadh is a sweet, whiskey based beverage in Chiora. The two favoured liqueres of Chiora are whisky and mead and this i ften seen as a combination of the two- lovingly nicknamed as the 'son' of the two drinks. It is a drink that can be seen at all levels of Cruthi society and evan has a veriaty of uses. It is a casual beverage, an endulgance, a survival ration, a remedy for various ailments and is even used in religious practices.
Manufacturing process
Malt or alredy blended whisky is blended with honey and pasted herbs and aged again. The kind of herb or pollin for the honey varies from place to place and most distilliarires have their own recepies.
