Boszor

Boszor has very little civilization above ground, as most of it's citizens have taken a liking to the possibilities of the sub-terranean habitat.   Boszor's top side is mostly cold, barren tundra and mountains, with little natural growth. The ground itself is rich in minerals, and thus beckons all who prefer a life of mining over farming. Boszorian mines produce everything from the royal jewelry to the very weapon in your own hand. They are all subtly trademarked with a small sign in the shape of a crown.   Beneath the ground is where the party really starts. Inside mountains and caverns that lead into the true core of Boszor are massive tunnel-systems that have been active for centuries. In these tunnels are all kinds of species, ranging from more to less humanoid. The majority is made of dwarves and driders, as well as some mole-folk and a small but rather active community of giants. Among the less frequently seen races are goblins, orcs, ogres and golems, to name a few.   Boszor is ruled by an emperor, who receives the title as a birthright. Boszorians treat tradition as law, and thus it would be incomprehensible to choose a ruler who wasn't a descendant of noble blood.   If one does not enjoy mining, a Boszorian can always take up monster hunting as a profession. Hunters are rare, mostly because the monsters living underground can be horrifyingly strong. The rewards for defeating these monsters, though, especially if commissioned by the nobility or the merchants' guild, can be very impressive.
