Dievant

A warm land, full of blooming flower fields, a brewery at almost every corner and massive cities spread wide.   Down south-west is the capital Vitri, a marvellous bustling city, as white as a sheet. Every building, every sign, every brick in the road has been painted a beautiful white. The only spots of color are the hundreds of flower ornaments decorating the city.   In the very middle of Vitri is the Night Castle, covered entirely in black; a stark contrast to the glimmering brightness of the surrounding town.   Vitri, and the whole of Dievant are ruled by countess Noranna Henrietta Brightridge.   Dievant is the home of the College of Magic, a famous institute with high reputation. The college is overseen by the Circle of Sorcery's main branch, which also happens to operate in Dievant. These institutions often collaborate and can be of use to each other. Members of the circle sometimes even come to the college to give lectures or simply to see what the future of magic entails.   Species found in Dievant include a solid 50% of humans, and the remaining percentage divided between cervitaurs, fauns, dryads, merfolk and fairyfolk of all kinds.   Dievant is considered by many to be a 'fairy-tale land' of sorts. This idea comes mostly from the fact that a majority of the populace spends their days either making or drinking wine, practicing their magic and riding a horse among the rolling hills if only to admire the scenery.

Geography

Dievant is full of rolling hills and is famous for all it's brilliant flowers.

Fauna & Flora

Dievant is rich in species that are derived from gems and minerals. Dogs, cats, deer, almost all animals are covered in naturally occurring crystals of all colours. These species are specific to Dievant, and the cause is thought to be of magical origins. Remnants of buried artifacts and stray spellwork could have caused the mutations that led to the gem-significant animals.   For some reason, this effect has not spread to trees, flowers, or any other form of life.
