The Imperial Highlands
The Imperial Highlands are a war torn bit of the continent. Peace has been secured only recently, and the occupants are slowly recovering.
Most of the residents are elves and dwarves, some humans and orcs, a few goblins. Centaurs enjoy the terrain as well due to the flat nature of the highlands, and their villages are littered around aplenty.
The land is currently reigned by Dilloth, an elven Beringer (bringer of peace, ruler). They are just and no matter what attempt to keep the residents of the highlands united. They will not tolerate squabbles and battles, and will attempt to find a dimplomatic solution if one is in any way possible.
Geography
An uneven patch of land, torn flat and apart by the constant battles raged upon it.
Mostly fields and valleys, the ground often beaten to the point where very few things actually grow from the earth.
There are still several resilient farming villages that try to do what they can with the soil, even if it isn't much.
Fauna & Flora
The highlands are inhabited by coyotes, foxes, and some stray deer. An occasional mountain lion has been seen. More than anything there is cattle, all kinds of cows, oxen, goats and sheep. As the residents cant grow anything, they keep trade and economy up by producing dairy.
