Lox
When Aukan saw his town painted red, he rushed down to his home. Bodies lay all around him as he sprinted past the clans town gate and to his home. He didn't notice among the dead bodies that all the men were clothed and all the women that could be seen were not clothed and seemed to be crawling out of homes in a last ditch effort to escape what had captured them. The scenery of dead bodies had not yet set in his mind. The only thing on his mind was his father, mother, and pregnant wife. Aukan got to his home and his eyes widened with fear. The entrance door to his home was open, with blood coming out of it. Aukan pushed the door all the way and saw his father lying face down in the snow to his left by the tree. The same tree where he would practice fighting with his dad before he left. Where his father gave him his two one handed axes. Aukan went to his father screaming,ā€¯Father are you alright! Father! He turned his father around and froze. His father had a hole where his eyes and mouth should be. There was nothing there but dried blood and half a brain. Hundreds of cuts big and small were seen among his body. His hands were broken and twisted, fingers missing nails and bent backwards. Movement brought Aukans attention to his father's upper body where the tongue moved like a snake's body after being decapitated. Thoughts ran through Aukans head of who or what did this to his father but then the image of his pregnant wife and mother came. He shot up and immediately ran inside his home calling for his wife and mother. There was blood everywhere as he searched all over until he saw blood dripping from the back door handle. Aukan slowly walked to the door shivering and scared for what lay beyond. When he opened the door time seemed to have sped up for the world as Aukan fell to knees and woke up hours later, up on a peak in the front of his clan's home as it burned to ashes from a great fire. What occurred in the timeframe?
Aukan could not hear the snow falling or the fires burning. Everything around him went hazy and all he could see was three figures next to each other pinned to the back wall. His mother on his left, naked and pinned with a giant stake through her stomach, hole in her chest and no heart to be seen to all. There were dried tears that could be seen from her face and dried white substance scattered around her naked body. On his right was his wife, staked in the shoulders with a hole in her stomach's umbilical cord connecting to something in the middle of the bodies. She too was naked and the white substances found on his mother could be seen in more quantity on his dead wife. (It is unknown if the substance was left before or after death or during both.) And in the center of the two women, a 8 month old baby corpse still in a fetal position and umbilical cord still connected. Within the millisecond Aukan saw that scene, his mind went blank for a solid second. It could not comprehend what it saw and immediately began constructing a personality that could handle this. The mind remembered one of the older clansmens, one who liked to stay in solitude in his hut. That man had been in many battles and that affected his interaction with others. He was cold, rude and always angry but never yelled. He did not need to yell for one to know his anger was there. No one approached him as when they did, they were pushed away or called slurs no one had even heard of or remembered. Isolated, strong, and powerful, that was the man Aukans mind remembered and based the personality off of. The name of that personality was just one word, Lox. Once created the personality went to work. Lox gathered all the bodies to the center of the clan's home town. It dug four large rectangular holes and as gently as possible placed each of Aukans families corpses into a hole. No tears ran down Loxs face. Only anger could be seen. Anger of the death of the clan, angry that they were not there when the clan was attacked. Angry that his family was killed and desecrated so badly. He filled the holes up and placed a doll on top of each grave. These dolls were made by his wife for their child so it would feel like their parents and grandparents were always there. Lox restocked Aukans supplies that were diminished from his hunt to become a true man and set fire to all homes and houses, and to the bodies. Lox took Aukan out of the town and up to a higher peak to watch as the fire burned all that would cause Aukan Depression. Then it returned the body to Aukan. Aukan saw the fire and knew only one thing, his whole clan was dead and someone did this to them while he was away. He must find the killer and avenge his clan and family.
