Human

"It is unknown which of the races on this Earth on this earth could be considered 'first'. Some evidence indicates that the oldest found skeleton belonged to a elf, in the wilds of Languedol. Other evidence suggests that the first of the modern races appeared in the valleys and rivers of modern-day Axum, later to be known as 'humanity'. Still others claim that the caverns of the Enokor mountain range gave birth to the first dwarves before any of the others we even conceived, or that the orcs first roamed the southern wastes when they were yet lush and green. No matter the truth, what cannot be disputed is this: of the races that exist, no could be said to have spread as far and wide as humans have. In every corner of the world, they are found, from the highest peaks to the lowest valleys. The ancient races are said to have had a sort of inborn tenacity and curiosity about the world around them, a quality that, while not unique to, seems to be inherent to, humanity. 'Wanderlust' is a uniquely human word, one that is often difficult to translate to languages spoken by non-humans. The desire to adventure, is something all humans have to some degree, whether it's exploring the seas, travelling halfway across the world by caravan, or delving into the true scientific nature of things."
