As any other military, Servants of the blood gods need a place to discuss military operations, strategies, equipment, etc. and give out commands with the safety the palce provides. General's outpost does just that, to an extent.
There is usually one per city, tho some towns have one as well. They tend to be rather small structures, made just to accomodate the high-ranking soldiers such as
Warlords of Garamuth or
Tortured of Valeria and religious officials that deal with military affairs, such as
Voices of gods, during a meeting.
General layout:
The layout usually differs from outpost to outpost, but it tends to be a larger house or a set of smaller houses, with a kitchen, several bedrooms, a meeting and a resting area, with a few additional places, made to make the meeting as convenient as possible. Outside are the training grounds and usually an
armory or two nearby.
Rooms:
Bedroom:
Each outpost has several rooms so the group can rest if the meeting lasts longer than a day. Some have them in a speratate house, made either as a barracks or separate rooms for a single person each. The bedding tends to be rather comfortable and of higher quality than regular people tend to have.
Kitchen:
Usually outside or in a separate building, to not distract the metting, slaves or soldiers make food and drinks for the group, which can eat outside on the table and chairs, which are sometimes inside, next to the kitchen.
Resting area:
A place with several comfortable seatings and games to play on a break. Some tend to have a trainign area as well.
Meeting area:
A bigger room with maps mounted on the walls, with a bunch of documantation and a large table to fit such a map, with seats around and several measuring or drawing tools, to discuss plans, deal with paperwork and anything else needed for work.
Training grounds:
The training grounds is usually a larger flat area outside, used to train new
recruits. Some lack in equipment while other have archery targets, training weapons, shields, armor and dummies.
Additional information:
Hidden rooms/ entrances:
THere is usually a hidden underground area to fit the whole group, in case of an emergency. However soem tend to lack supplies.
Defenses:
The outpost has usually several guards, three to five, making sure to be of help if any sort of trouble arises.
