Red sea

North part of the Ocean of myths is called the Red sea. The name's origin is unknown, but it's speculated it has something to do with the Four blood gods. The sea is known for how dark it is, since kelp grows almost everywhere, growing up to the surface, giving home to some strange and often dangerous creatures.
In the depths of the sea and on the beaches, the sand ranges from yellow-ish brown to light brown, or grey in some parts.

Depth:

The sea's depth goes from 1 up to 1500m in a few places, 50-350m on average.

Fauna and Flora

The sea has a iverse range of fauna and flora, most of it undiscovered.

• Fish: Bristlemouth, Flounder, Hairtail, Herring, Sea Bream, Rockfish, Barracuda, Tiger Shark, Eel, Greenling, Cod, Stingray, Kelp Fish, Striped striker, 3 eyed pip, Sea snake/not a snake/, Lurker shark
• Sea Plants: Phytoplankton, Sea Grass, Seaweed, Algae, Kelp, Giant long kelp, glowing kelp
• Other: Dolphin, Octopus, Squid, Sea Star, Sea Lurker, Giant Sea Lurker, Sea leg snatcher, Giant Sea Lurker, Kelp Squid/kelp like body/, Grey Whale

Islands:

The sea holds a few islands, some even inhabited by humanoid civilizations. Tho not all of them are worth mentioning.
