Avangal

Avangal is the divine country and the holy capital of the world. It is the country with the most powerful priests, clerics, and paladins, and is home to the Divine Oracle, one of the three true seers of Ode. Angelic creatures walk the streets and fly through the air in the capital city of Celestial Arclight (often called Arc). Arc is a floating city that was lifted off the ground through divine magics and the use of float stone. Paladins, clerics, divine soul sorcerers, and celestial warlocks are held in high regard. However, all other warlocks and followers of Dark gods are hunted down and executed or exiled by the Inquisition.
The capital of the nation is divided into two cities, the true capital Celestial Arclight, which flies high in the sky, and and the crater it left in the ground, the city of Undying Hope (mostly called Hope, or The Crater). The city of Hope lies in the shadow of Arc. The citizens of Hope are often referred to as lowborn, and the citizens of Arc as highborn. Those born as lowborn can be lifted up to the city of Arc when they show aptitude to divine magic.
