Races of the World

The races of the world are broken up into two categories, the Free Races and the Monstrous Races. It is believed that the Free Races were created with the ability to choose and truly possess free will, while the Monstrous Races were created by gods with evil intentions and were endowed with only the ability to fulfill their patron's wishes. While this idea is disregarded by most modern peoples, due to the occasional monster that breaks the norms for their race, and the tendency among races apart from humans to still harbor certain traits similar to their creators and worship them more than any other deities, the names of Free Races and Monstrous Races are still widely used.
