Few have seen the sallow features of Gibson Hallewell and lived to tell the tale. Even fewer know the pirate by name. He lives behind a thick curtain of fear and infamy. His ship, 'Indomitable', distinguishes itself from the common rabble with vivid red sails. It serves both as a goading taunt and a warning. He is a cold, calculated and coathroat man. His body is lanky to an almost unatural looking degree, with lean practically fatless muscle built upon a long limbed frame. While brutal and cruel, he is not dishonorable. His fighting style was a clear opposite to Mako's, favoring precision over raw strength. This, of course, extended to his rule over his ship.
Old Albatross's relationship with Indiana is... complicated. It was he who saved her life, as well as what remained of Oliver's crew. However... it was only in honor of the former friendship Gibson had with his former rival Dalton... their father. He viewed Indiana and Oliver as only half the pirate their father was... and after Indiana chose to leave the seas behind, that image soured further. While Albatross's feelings toward Indiana do not extend to hatred, the man feels little more than total apathy for them... what else is left is only dissapointment and hollow bitterness.
