The past of this catfolk is tragic but doesn't define the future they have in store for themselves. Sold into slavery at a young age by their parents and this was the life they knew until they reached 15. Through a fortunate turn of events, they were able to escape this life thanks to the assistance of a small coven of witches. Seeing innate potential in the young Catfolk, the coven took him in and taught him their dark magic and the old ways as well as the belief in their deity The Night Patron. While training in the swamps of Zalz, Ishka found an injured snake that bore a pattern similar to what is described of the appearance of the Night Patron and adopted the creature nursing it back to health. He is still haunted by a tragic event during his time in the labour camps of his youth when a Nun known as Viara was killed for trying to free him and the other children. And ever since, he has always felt as if she was there lingering and watching... perhaps she is the one who has given him the gifted abilities that he now possesses as a full fledged Witch of the coven. And with the completion of his training, the Coven sends him forth on his final trial to become a true-reborn child of the Night Patron.
