Ulgo Stormfeather
Ulgo Stormfeather was born from the royal bloodline of Stormfeather. His family was known to keep their power by resorting to dishonest and illegal means and as Ulgo grew up, tried to force him into becoming another of their pawns. Ulgo, however was born with a deep sense of integrity and hated his family for what they were forcing him to do, so at the age of 17, he ran away from his family at the first chance he got. With no marketable skills to speak of, Ulgo wandered the world trying to find someone who would allow him to begin an apprenticeship. He searched many small villages and larger cities without much success.
After about a month, Ulgo was wandering in the wilderness, starving and desparate for any honest means of survival, living off berries and nuts he found in the woods; when he came across a tower hidden away in the forest. Curious as to what such an ornate tower could be doing out in the middle of nowhere, he reached to knock on the door, but the door opened just before his knuckles could touch it.
As the door opened, Ulgo heard a voice call out "Welcome my child, I have been watching you and I have been moved by your sense of honesty and devotion to the proper way of doing things. I am Abadar, God of Civilization. Devote yourself in service to me and you will gain my blessing to help you continue down the just path you have been craving your entire life".
After much conversation, Ulgo was impressed by the deity before him and his integrity, so he decided to pledge his life in service of Abadar. After receiving the God's blessing, they ate a meal together and Abadar sent Ulgo to Areti to obtain training from the Tempest Hunters and to join their order.
After leaving the tower to begin his journey, Ulgo looked back once more upon the tower of his newfound deity, only to see it had disappeared with healthy grass in it's place. He then blinked a couple times and embarked on his journey.
Ulgo proved to be a capable fighter and investigator for the Tempest Hunters, moving up the ranks within the guild until he started being sent out on the more difficult cases. Because of the nature of these cases, Ulgo was put over a group of three new recruits, and the four of them traveled together to bring their targets to face their trials.
Throughout his travels, he brought many lawbreakers to justice and trained those under him. He became renowned for his success rate in his cases, with only two ever being able to evade his team: a bounty hunter who is known only as the Last Shadow, and now his most recent case: a traveling thief that seems just outside of his grasp every step of the way. It was following this thief's trail that brought Ulgo to where we find him today: back in Areti, the homebase of his guild.
