Welcome to Newland Falls

Welcome to the continent of Oerth, a far-off continent to the West of The Sword Coast with its own customs, cultures and secrets.

The story begins in the days leading to a Festival of Merit once every 4 years the town takes volunteers to enter a competition that is a show of strength. Families sponsor groups of adventurers to participate in the contest on their behalf. The Alcott family has summoned you to represent them in this year's festival.

The newly formed teams team have an evening to prepare for the festival. The ceremony begins the celebration and the team gets to explore the riverside city of Newland Falls and all it has to offer. Each win brings them clues about the final test of merit which will bring fame to the adventurers and fortune to the house they represent.

Beyond the merriment of the festival, something dark is beginning to wash over the land. War to the east, tensions with the elves to the south, rumours of horrifying creatures to the north, whole towns turned to dust and over the horizon, the blood moon rises.
