Bow of Ymir
Presumed to be a Dwarven Crossbow. Approximately sized as a Heavy Crossbow. The front arch of the bow is metal and features rune carvings. The cranequin on top is more advanced than anything the players are used to seeing. The crank handle is missing and instead has a bronze bas-relief that could be the head of a ram or a long humanoid face with ram's horns; it's difficult to tell. The head portion has gaps around it making it appear to be a button. The bow and stock of the crossbow is made primarily of a grey metal with a brushed metal finish. There are no rivets or other signs of its construction obvious. It feels lighter and stronger than other crossbows of this size.
+2 AP for the crossbow itself. +2 HP for the crossbow itself. Has a permanent Pierce Folk Magic spell on it, bypassing the first 2 Armor Points of the person, creature, or armor struck. Has a permanent Firearrow Folk Magic spell on it with Folk Magic rating of 70% (for setting alight objects hit). Causes 1d3 extra damage on hit. Has a permanent Speedart Folk Magic spell on it, increasing range by 1.5x normal. The cranequin is semi-automated and allows faster loading. Load time changed from 3 (all Load times in book reduced by 1) to 2 due to cranequin. The entire crossbow is metal with bronze on the cranequin.
