Orcus (OHR-kuhs)
Orcus, the Demon Prince, master of the undead, ruler of the 333rd layer of the Abyss, is the very picture of the word demonic. His twisted body of corpulence and bloated flesh stands fifteen feet in height topped with a dessicated head of a horned ram. Rounding out his hideous appearance, goat fur covers his body from top of his cloven hooves up past his large bat-like wings sprouting outward from his spine while a long serpent-like tail swings menancingly with a barbed tip.
The Shadow That Was seeks to overwhelm the living and transform the multiverse into a vast necropolis of undead servants. He rewards those who spread death in his name. Those with minimal impact are turned into Ghouls or Ghasts, while those that cause vast destruction to the living are granted necromantic powers or lich-hood.
