Argent Beastiary

A Beastiary owned and maintained by the Argent Clan.

The earlier portions of the beastiary are taken from the beastiary of the Brescia Clan (itself based on the much older Marcian Beastiary) who were wiped out in the early 1700s. Their Beastiary came into the hands of occult researcher Henri Argent, who would go on to use it as the basis on his Clan's beastiary when he and Marie-Jeanne Valet founded the Argent Clan.

Argent Beastiary

Nowhere is the monstrous and unnatural nature of werewolves more clear than in the person of the Alpha.

Among true wolves, an Alpha is a leader and protector, who rises to the position through experience and strength of character. Among the werewolves, Alphas frequently take the possition in bloody combat, brutally killing their way to power, and once it has been obtained, excercising a cruel domination over those below them, to extent of being able to control the minds of their betas.
