Earl Roderick of Salisbury

Earl Roderick of Salisbury is a warrior famed for his prowess, having fought under King Uther against the Saxons to the east. He is noted for his deadly feud with Sir Rhisiart Blains, the Steward of Levcomagus, for whom he holds a deep grudge because they were both suitors of Lady Ellen many years ago.   Earl Roderick is an energetic man and a passionate follower ofUther Pendragon, often bustling about the realm on business. He has always mustered to battle when called and is generally considered an outstanding general, having proven himself against the Saxons of the east.   Earl Roderick has a wife, Lady Ellen, and three children - Lady Jenna, Robert of Salisbury, and the baby Blewydd. Because he was a former suitor of his wife, a strong grudge remains between Roderick and Sir Rhisiart Blains, Steward of Levcomagus. Sir Roderick was the son of Count Robyn, called the Grand Knight, and his ancestors have held territory for so long that it precedes any known record.
