Spania Mist Weaver
A tiny nuisance to most, but when they rarely gather, The Spania Mist Weavers become quite the problem. A small flying insect that from time to time bite people and drink a bit of blood. They store the blood in a strange cloud that they weave from water and the blood they drain with an inexplicable fine light webbing. When they begin to swarm to mate though, these clouds of bloody mist can cover whole cities. When they swarm like this bites become more common and breathing in vaporous blood is not great for the body. They climb high into the clouds to lay their eggs, trapping the moisture in the clouds until the eggs hatch, and the rain falls bringing them to the land.
