Vampire's Gift

A member of the vampiric species can gift a victim with a portion of their strength without the intent to turn them. These individuals will often imprint upon the vampire that has given its gift as a newborn to its parents. They often if separated from the giver of the gift suffer from depression that will clear when they are near the vampiric being. Further gifts deepen the changes, but eventually will burnout the body if the recipient is not changed.
Symptoms: distinctive rash, tunnel vision, confusion, physical enhancement Cause: bite, can come from a full vampire or dhampir Course: goes away after several weeks if untreated and no further bites occur, but some symptoms become permanent Treatment: very simple to extremely difficult
