Demographics

Friendly dragonkin run the inn, tavern, spa, and supply shop. You may find a human or two working amongst the dragonkin. There is also a corsana medic available for travelers suffering from heat illnesses.

Samana offers a plethora of supplies and services with which travelers can relax and prepare for the journey ahead.
Visitors to the Samana Inn are welcomed with soft beds, friendly service, and cooling eucalyptus sheets. 
They can also grab a hearty meal or a fruity drink at the nearby tavern. Locals recommend the Specialty Cocktail, a blended drink of ginger, pineapple, and tequila served in a cactus bowl. Some of their signature dishes include pineapple pepper curry, cheesy grilled corn with lemony garlic chickpeas, fried bananas, and mango ice cream.
At the supply shop, travelers can pick up equipment for the road, including water canisters and rations, sand masks, firewood, blankets, and more! There is also a tiny stable attached where horses can rest and recover.

People rarely visit Samana simply for a visit; most stumble along the place as they pass through. While the inn, tavern, and supply shop are sure to appeal to any weary desert traveler, the amenity they most look forward to is the spa.
Famous for its refreshing mineral springs (both cold and hot, all natural!), the Samana Spa offers a variety of treatments, including hot stone massages, sand baths, scale treatments for dragonkin, cacti acupuncture, and many others!

Architecture

The buildings are formed from sandstone with rounded roofs, mosaic tiles, and small arched windows. There are lanterns strewn about the walls of the buildings and along the path to light up the area at night.

Geography

The oasis sits nestled in a canyon valley, a haven in otherwise harsh and open desertlands. A waterfall descends from the canyon into the crystal-clear oasis waters. The waters are infused with natural minerals, which provide both internal benefits (when drunk) and external benefits (when soaked in). The oasis is shaded and surrounded by lush palm trees, tropical flowers, and agave plants.

Climate

Samana has a mild, temperate climate, which is warm during the day but can still get a little chilly at night. Still, it does not suffer from the extremes of the Napura desert surrounding, and travelers can find relief in its shade, cool breezes, and ample shelter.
