- The Ethereal Plane directly overlaps all other planes of existence. When you enter the ethereal plane from a battle map, you remain in the same relative location and can still sense the other plane, but you cannot interact with creatures or objects in the other plane, and vice versa.
- I.e.
- Creatures in the ethereal plane cannot target creatures or objects in the other plane.
- Creatures in the other plane cannot target creatures or objects in the ethereal plane.
- Creatures in the ethereal plane may move through creatures and objects in the other plane without penalty.
- Creatures in the other plane may move through creatures and objects in the ethereal plane without penalty.
