General Physical Condition

Lean but certainly not muscular.

Body Features

Smallness. Big hands, big feet, big head as expected from gnomes.

Facial Features

An impessively large mouth with sizable clean teeth. Wide eyes, big arcing eyebrows and round cheeks.

Identifying Characteristics

Two red circles painted on both cheeks. Hair mostly kept in a bun.

Physical quirks

Pupils appear split in half, with a clear line going down the middle.

Apparel & Accessories

• Beige and red kimono-esque robes featuring a hood, with numerous playing cards pinned to the front.
• A band from stitched-together playing cards holding the robes together.
• A simple off-white undershirt.
• Brown trousers.
• Dirty dark red boots coming up to the knee. Pointy.
• Socks of widely differing colours. Unseen.
• A single length of string as a hairtie.
• A brown backpack intended for use by a regular-sized humanoid. Fits scrolls, numerous bags, and rectangular pouches for card decks.
• A finely carved wooden Oni mask, worn around the neck. The face on the mask is carved sideways.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

The cunning, curious and crazy Kerosuke experiences the signature excitement of the gnome through jokes and tricks. He finds great humour in the most mundane and serious of situations. Some would say this is due to boundless optimism, others would say craziness. His spellbook, or 'Kerosuke's Deck of Tricks', is filled with illustrated jokes and tricks revolving around the spells. Kerosuke is often seen in fits of laughter simply shuffling through the deck alone. These tricks can be mean and harmful; fooling a friend with a card trick is as good a punchline to Kerosuke as engulfing a foe in flames. He is certainly not insane however, and reserves his more nefarious pranks for opponents.

Small, dangerously optimistic ex-taikomochi. Lives for the excitement of playing tricks. If playing cards are seen flung from a giant cloud of fog, you know who it is.
