The Age of Isolationism

Following The Clamity, the remaining peoples of Olcari were scattered to the far corners of the continent, in small settlements and villages, or as nomadic tribes with no true home.
This remained true for a number of decades as the population grew and the peoples built more permanent residences once the scarred land had started to heal. Many kept away from the remaining rifts through to the Elemental planes.
As the populations grew and encountered one another more frequently, a need arose for leadership and co-operation in this still healing landscape. Therefore a council of elders was formed from the largest tribes; which lead to the expansion and building of some of the foundations of the existing cities today; such as the underground city of Vinadre, the mountain city of Soltryce and the forest city of A'mlian
