Hawkins' Pirate Paradise

The floating pirate shanty town of gambling and fun. Created and funded by Iron Hook Hawkins after becoming one of the most renowned pirates in the world, the floating boat town now serves as a mobile money making paradise for Hawkins.

Demographics

Many who visit the floating town are, like Hawkins, pirates themselves looking for a rest from sailing for a night of fun. Alternatively, many adventurers and novice sailors end up stopping at the town for one reason or another as well.

Strangely enough, compared to the demographic, there is one constantly recurring guest that goes against any common demographic. A posh kobold named Kobo.

Government

There is a lone government official and it is Hawkins himself, upholding the rules of his town with his mysterious power to turn anyone to gold just with a look.

Nobody really wants to be turned into gold, so they follow the rules. Even if Hawkins may not be there, the pirates loyal to him, his crew, are certainly going to notify him.

Infrastructure

Approaching the floating town it would seem rickety and poorly made, almost looking like a mix of different woods and materials to form a shoddy floating town. While this is true for the exterior the interior feels like a fancy bar or a gambling den with smoothed out wood, carpets and the like, making the outside simply an illusion, though the purpose of the exterior looking rickety is unknown.

Assets

The interior itself has a few set up shops approved by Hawkins, some selling general goods and another peddling runes and magical items. In addition to these few stores, there is also a set up bar that hands out drinks and foods to the visitors, along with countless gambling tables.

Tourism

The only people that visit often are pirates as the floating town markets itself towards them, offering a place away from proper laws and a break from the sailing life. Most who aren't pirates that visit are simply looking for adventure or some cheap gambling, hoping to win something.
