Inherited Technique: Shiva

From his father, Jatayu inherited the ocular Technique known as Shiva, Eyes of Destruction which would allow him to destroy Magical Energy in living beings on sight. Jatayu's SHIVA could destroy energy within a fraction of a picosecond. He also had access to the Avatar of Shiva, a massive avatar made from Magical Energy which excelled at destruction and offensive power.

Majestic Astra: Distortion Clones

Jatayu, in his youth, unlocked his Majestic Astra in both his eyes, a unique ability that allowed him to crate Shadow-Clones of himself with his full power, skill, and abilities without sacrificing any of his own. This was called Distortion Clones Divine Clones were made from the Radiance, could only use the Radiant side of Magic, and could only attack beings composed of Darkness. Demonic Clones were the same, but the inverse. He could make up to 3 Divine Clones and 3 Demonic Clones, each one wielding a full set of his SHIVA as well. He could also summon a Mortal Clone which could attack any being composed of the Radiance and/ or Darkness, but only 1 of these Clones could be made at a time and if a Mortal Clone was summoned, Divine and Demonic Clones could not be used.

Babr-e Bayan

The Babr-e Bayan was a cloak/ coat of great magical ability gifted to Jatayu by his father, Mahadaji. The Babr-e Bayan was enchanted and could provide its user with a natural defense and resistance to all-natural elements such as Fire, Ice, Wind, and Lightning based attacks and environments. Additionally it granted the user the ability to fly for short periods of time.

The Bastard Son

Jatayu was the first-born son of Mahadaji Al-Hashimi from his first wife, Jayanti. He was born on Planet Risauyama during the 7th Al-Hashimi Dirka'Ad and was the pride and joy of his father. Jatayu grew up in a relatively nice and relaxed life until his father drafted him into the military conflicts he fought when he was only 19. Jatayu would fail miserably, costing the House the lives of 500 thousand Kirtsan Warriors. Mahadaji was hard on Jatayu and expected greater things from the boy.
When Jatayu was a man, he came to butt heads with his father on many things, namely the future of the House. After his mother died, Jatayu noticed the weakness and instability that grew within his father and sought to take control to keep the House from falling into disarray. This action failed and resulted in Jatayu being banished from the House and all related Worlds/ Allien Worlds so long as he breathes. 
Jatayu would abandon his past and find a new peaceful life on Dun with the daughter of a Wine Maker, Emanuela Giovanni. Jatayu took her surname upon their marriage and begin a new humble life on Dun as a husband and father to a family where he was wanted. Jatayu had 3 sons with his wife and when the House learned he had exposed their bloodline and their Inherited Technique to outsiders, Kirtsan Warriors were sent to kill his sons and wife.

Jatayu's world, Dun, burned for his crimes, and the blood of two of his sons was spilled, but Emanuela and their eldest secured safe transport off-world. Their small starship zipped away and Jatayu turned his wrath on the House of Al-Hashimi. He returned home to Risauyama and confronted his old father, and a battle took place. This was an epic battle, but it would be both Father and Son's last dance together.

Jatayu killed his father, suffering supreme wounds to himself in the process. He was able to just escape the House's wrath with the aid of his younger sister Kalyani and make it Offworld. His dying thoughts were of his family as his ship sailed forever into the empty black void.

Education

Jatayu was trained by Kirtsan Warriors in the ways of hand-to-hand combat and tactical prowess. He was taught Magecraft by his father Mahadaji and inherited the man's uncanny talent for the Art of Enchantment. Jatayu was not considered a genius in almost any regard but he was very adept at most things he attempted, picking up the higher levels of Magic relatively fast and becoming a prodigy in sword combat almost overnight.

Failures & Embarrassments

Forgive Me, My Sons

Jatayu blames himself for the death of his two youngest sons, Lucio & Bruno, even though in reality they were killed by the Kirtsan. At the time, Jatayu had relaxed his guard and convinced himself the House no longer had any intentions in him. Had he known they continued to keep loose tabs on him, of course, he would have made countermeasures but his easy and humble life had dulled his battle sense and made him fat and soft. After losing Lucio and Bruno, Jatayu spiraled and went to face his father, fully expecting to die and never seeing his eldest son, Dario, ever again.

Motivation

Jatayu was exiled from the House of Al-Hashimi because he sought to steer the clan away from a path of leadership through fear and power, the very thing Mahadaji fought so hard to liberate his people from, and why they openly defied the Imperium of Midgard & the United Stellar Commonwealth. But, he was seen as a zealot and betrayer who greedily tried to usurp his magnificent father.
Jatayu never sought power, evident by him never seeking to return to the Al-Hashimi after his crime, he only wanted his father's legacy, the House, to remain what it was supposed to be, his father's vision; a place where you could live with your loved ones with your heads held high. But, as it is the way with life, these things hardly ever go to plan, and his lofty plans and rage cost Jatayu his life.
