Effect

VI Vias Sciendi grants users a true understanding of All Things and Everyone in the form of 3 exceptional abilities;

• Path One: True Understanding

Path One often called the fundamental path for the Understanding, allows one to gain a deeper and greater understanding of not only Magic but the very fabric of reality and existence as well as their place in it. It is a very abstract power but a fundamental one to be used later.

• Path Two: Internal True Understanding of Energies

One's body, every cell, and fiber of being are infused with True Understanding, allowing them to efficiently use not only Magical Energy but all internal bodily energy and functions with 0.01% waste, making use of all available energy. When done correctly, one's body can always find a way to use whatever amount of energy at their disposal to its penultimate. 

• Path Three: External Spell of True Understanding

Spells and Magic in general, cast with this Path are understood on a molecular level, everything from how they function down to exactly how much energy is needed to cast and maintain them. Because of this, Magic can be used very close to Subete o Rikai Suru, or the "Understanding of Everything", which is Magic of the highest caliber, even greater then the level reached by the mighty Balthazar O. Skyburner II.

• Path Four: Omni-Awareness

Such a powerful Path serves as the fundamental path for the Awareness, it allows one to be in perfect sync with reality, they will lack the greater Understanding of previous Paths that is needed to take advantage of such information but they will still possess information nonetheless.

• Path Five: Self-Embodiment of Omni-Awareness

This Path takes Omni-Awareness and dials it in the user, allowing them to be aware of almost anything that affects them down to a cellular level, from poisons to mind manipulation. This can prove quite useful when fighting in unfavorable circumstances or remaining vigilant for unforeseen threats. 

• Path Six: Omni-Awareness of Projected Mind

This Path is the inverse of the previous, allowing one to gain insight and awareness of anyone or anything they project their mind into. This can range from simple and basic uses such as reading your opponent's movements to predict their attacks, a sort of form of Divination. However, when used in more refined tactics, one can view events from the past or from other perspectives across space and time.

Side/Secondary Effects

• Input overload can shatter one's psyche.
• Sense of omnichronal happenings is sporadic and unhelpful without training.
• If power comes later in life, it may drive the user insane. (Users of the Awareness Path usually need to begin training to master the ability to prevent this at a young age)

Manifestation

VI Vias Sciendi manifests as alien markings and sigils that appear on the user's body when the ability is in use. Typically, this ability is split between two users and one person will receive the marks on their left side while the other receives them on their right side.

The VI Vias Sciendi is believed to have been birthed from a combination of Balthazar Skyburner II's master of Subete o Rikai Suru, or the "Understanding of Everything" + his unique genetic composition as no one else who also mastered Subete o Rikai Suru manifested similar abilities in their offspring. Whatever the reason, only direct descendants of Balthazar O. Skyburner II have the chance to inherit this ability.

Applied Restriction

• Typically, this Nōryoku 能力 is split between two people, each one holding 3 Paths and in this method, only one person may hold a set of Paths at any given time.
• As mentioned above, usually only a person only has a chance to inherit half of the VI Vias Sciendi, but it is extremely rare for some to be born inheriting the full VI Vias Sciendi. To date, only four members of House Skyburner have; Sarjah Skyburner, Felix F. Skyburner, Élisée D'Aboville Skyburner and 77 Skyburner.
