Old Heaven

Five hundred years ago, the Pact of the Outsider was shattered.

In less than a moment, every elf on Valan was trapped in the mortal world, forever severed from the realm of Old Heaven. This calamity brought the elfish and mannish worlds into existential conflict; the elf seeking to secure a future on an inimical world, and the man seeking to preserve the world that was theirs.

Half a century later, the age of men is over and the elfish Nalemon rules a continental empire.

The world reels from the elfish ascent; mannish, dwarfish, goblin and other peoples under elfish dominion or bordering it struggle to adapt to their new reality. Ancient powers, dormant or hidden during the age of man, have begun to reassert their influence.

But despite the chaos, the Nalemon's empire may be the only power that can prevent the Doom prophesied to be the fate of the world, should the Outsider's Pact ever break.
