The Wolf King's Madness
When Terah was still young, the Lupine races chose for themselves a king whom could walk the land as a werewolf, a direwolf, and a man. The young Wolf King believed that his subjects didn't need him as much as they thought, so he allowed them to govern themselves for the most part. While he was wandering the wintery Solfirth Mountains he came across a beautiful human girl, with flowing sapphire hair and emerald green eyes. The young lass piqued his interest and they began to spend time together, growing closer throughout the year. Unbeknownst to the Wolf King, a faction of his subjects believed that he was unfit to rule and began plotting to overthrow him. One day, when the Wolf King arrived at the spot where he would meet the human girl, he found her lifeless, shredded body, the snow stained by her blood. The young king broke, unable to feel anything but pain, he shifted to his werewolf form and began his massacre.
