History

Founded during the Forgotten Era as a haven for immigrants. The city was relocated during the Great Divine War to move it away from the main site of fighting - temporarily it was in the astral sea - then returned. Survived the Epoch of Change as a soverign entity, was almst destroyed, but a Chosen Avatar of the divine rose to protect it. Suffered little suring th decimation due to it's roots in divine magic rather than arcane - one great mage of the time originated from the city, gaining power after moving awa with the ideology of being greater than the gods th city worshippd
