Abhainn Adhmaid
(Irish) Wood River
This article is incomplete. I've pre-published it for your information as it is referenced in one of my 2021 World Anvil Summer Camp entries.
Abhainn Adhmaid is a narrow but fast-moving river flowing north-to-south from the high boreal of the Báisaisling Foraois to Báseodgorm. Litenåsby was built along its western bank where it discharges into the bay, where its stong but (more importantly) steady flow powers several watermills. Upstream, the river is mainly used to float felled logs from the forest to Litenåsby , irrigation, and fishing.
