Elemental

The Elemental, including the Genasi, were created by The First Aspect as "the first civilization". They had full-functioning societies that co-existed peacefully (usually) as servants assisting The First Aspect in its work. They were largely wiped out by the magical energy that reforged the world but remnants of their society remained. They may be found in similar spaces that may also host Aberration, in / near vestiges of their civilization, iconic locations of raw elemental power/presence, and/or near the elemental siphons connected to the The Singularity. Growth Rate & Stages

An Elemental's span may well be eternal by any scale other than those used by an immortal being. Most live at least a millenia with the eldest Elemental in history supposedly living thru a second, if legend is to be believed. While the different ethnicities have their own growth rates and cultural sentiment toward life stage, all Elemental have a similar trend. Childhood: The first ~1% of an individual's lifespan. A period of formation before any real personality or intelligence is exhibited by the being. Survival is fully dependent on other Elemental. Behaviour cannot be measured by any moral model. Adolescent: The next ~4% of an individual's lifespan. A period of (relatively) rapid physical and mental growth. An individual's personality becomes evident as their survival transitions fully dependent to fully independent as defined by their culture. Behaviour can be viewed through a moral lens; however, responsiblity for said behaviour is typically directed at the environment instead of the individual. Young Adult: The bulk of an individual's lifespan (~45%). A period of continued physical and mental maturing at a decaying rate. Individual's are fully capable of self-sufficiency and have the faculties to warrant moral judgement. Settled Adult: The next ~35% of an individuals lifespan wherein their life "peaks" from a physical and mental perspective. Elderly: The final ~15% of an individual's lifespan marked by an accelerating decline in both physical and mental capability until a natural death occurs.
