Our people were created by the divine mother and father. They provided us with a set of bountiful islands to call home. For a while they walked among us, until they fell protecting us from a wretched beast. In their wake, we were gifted their child the Yatzal as a protector.
This is the general creation mythos of the Aizuni elves. It revolves around two deities, a male and a female elf. They're lovers and are considered the "parents" to the Aizuni. The mother is a sun goddess while the father is a moon god.
