Magi-Tab

A magic user's best friend! This tablet device was originally created with wizard's in mind to easily transcribe spells into their books while also bypassing the high cost per spell and substitutes the use of spell slots for its various functions. It can be used by any magic user after attunement for various purposes as well.

Utility

Lower end models can be used as simple, high speed tablets. All models have access to the internet, gps, and communication features. They can be individually modified to fit the specific needs of the user. Wizards and artificers are the main target audience, but most magically inclined people can find one to assist them. Each tablet has a set number of ability slots to expend per day to use as an extension to the user's abilities. This number can be increased through paid upgrades. The base functions can be used by anyone, but only those who attuned to the tablet with a blood sample can make the magic capabilities work.
Access & Availability
During its first year, mainly due to creation and purchase cost, it only appeared in a few high end shops and only those more well off could afford. After being out on the market for several years, it is now widely available at all magic and tech shops. Its price has also dropped to a more affordable range.
Discovery
The first concept for the Magi-Tab was developed by the Elven mage Valxina Yarwood who wanted to find a more modern way to assist with her magic. Valxina partnered with Omari's tech giant PrismaTech. The first models ready for sale were available by the year 900.
