Dragonborn
These boisterous and powerful dragon-kin are said to be descendants of the ancient dragons that roamed Gaia in millennia past.
A small excerpt from the book 'Intelligent Life in Gaia', by Hum'ro Skadi, as published in 2335 AFL.
While their other humanoid-draconic hybrid counterparts, the Drak'khari, carry more humanoid and in general Hume-like features, the Dragonborn's beastly appearance can be somewhat more menacing. Said to be descended directly from dragons which took illusory humanoid forms to mate with humanoids in ages long-gone - the stories about which are treated as both fictional romance and accurate lore, depending on whom the question is directed to - these mighty people are numerous and have secured a place of respect among other cultures.
"Being a proud member of this species, himself, the author will try his best to be unbiased in his presentation of facts regarding the Dragonborn. While our physical features might seem outlandish and far too rugged to some of the more elegant species of Gaia, we nevertheless possess the selfsame ability for emotion and poetic expression as our other humanoid counterparts. Far from beasts, and yet so alike the ancient and powerful fliers of myth. We, Dragonborn, are easily differentiated in terms of origin based solely on the judgement of our scales and abilities. Having in mind one's abilities, discerning lineage becomes a trifling matter. Each of us take immense pride in that heritage, that much is certain."
