Elkhazel

Elkhazel was born to a human prostitute, and never knew his father. His mother only told him that his father was a noble elf who he could never meet, and never know, and even though he asked his mother never told him who his father was. He never got to find out, for when he was 8 years old, his mother died of cystic fibrosis.
From then on Elkhazel spent his life out on the streets alone, eating other people’s scraps and stealing food. He was caught a lot, and beat up a lot, but he always got up and carried on. This meant he had to learn to fight for himself, and so he taught himself how to use a knife and other basic weapons he could find. Eventually he made friends with many of the other homeless children around, and soon they started working together to steal as a group, and not just food, but gold and items he could sell for more gold. By 14 the group had accumulated to about 30 children in ages ranging from 8 to his age. They worked well together to keep eachother alive and soon settled in an abandoned construction building.
The gang continued for 3 more years and although they didn't grow much in size, they soon made a name for themselves as they started to become more active and violent. Over this time Elkhazel and become a very proficient fighter, not just with weapons but his fists too. The gang were his family, and he was seen as their leader and protector.
But they became too notorious among and land, and it was clear that in the future the gang would be a great threat to the lords and nobles ruling the land. So the Elven lords sent a team of assassins to deal with them. The assassins made quick work of tracking them down and slaughtering each and every member of Elkhazels new family. Elkhazel was not at their base at the time, was arriving back from an errand when he heard the final scream, saw the elf assassins leaving. The assassins saw him down the street and suddenly a wild chase began. Elkhazel barely escaped, and with no nothing in his pockets but a knife, he fled the land as far as he could, until he eventually came to Greatwell, where noone would know of him or his family. Nonetheless he laid low, his resoursefulness helped him find a job with Grashnu, and here he began working.
For now he would just survive, and hope to never be found, as he was certain the bounty on his head would be huge. From then on he went by El, a simple traveller seeking employment.

Has a bounty on his head from Leading up a gang, who unbeknownst to him committed murder to steal in his name.
2 Kids from the gang survived and have a goal in mind which when they find Elkhazel they'll try and real him in. (Could be his father was the one to set the bounty and they want to travel to his city and murder him)
