Pyšel Airendil

Pyšel was a sailor since a young boy as his father had to find a way to get a half-aquatic creature as near to the sea as possible without drowning him.  He made good friends with various harbour dwellers around the country but was entranced by an elvish lass named Gwynda. She was from the monastery near a port called The Wharf Of Gannet and often helped the impoverished districts of the docks.   Gwynda began to teach Pyšel how to harness magic with the aid of the Gods. Her hope was that, with her guidance, he'd learn the importance of helping those less fortunate with love and affection...   The sailors Pyšel spent his time around shared similar affection for the Gods, provided they granted good fortune on the seas. One of the senior members, a loudmouthed tiefling named Shapione showed Pyšel the importance of having a good relationship with the Gods. When treacherous storms and pesky pirates would threaten the fragile vessel they travelled in, she was often called upon to ask the Gods for arbitration. Pyšel learned much from her and hoped to develop the skills she taught to him...   As Pyšel grew, he was used to having odd and interesting travellers on the Illithid's Harrier. One, in particular, had the biggest effect on the young half-elf's life. An Orc named Grashnu came onto the ship one day asking for a voyage between Slumberhaven and Fasdal, two major coastal towns. He paid in advance, offered no trouble and chatted frequently with the ship's youngest sailor. Pyšel learned of a business that offered sums of cash for the odd job or two.   [Right, at this point I have to do some other work]   We'll do the old classic: Gwynda is ill and needs some medicine to not die. So Pyšel starts taking on jobs to get some money so that he can help her because he is a simp.
Deep Sashelas sends him visions as he's in need of a task done etc    Gwynda sends him visions which get gradually more fragmented as she decays   Needs 50gp a month for the medicine
