Godsbridge

Godsbridge is a marvel of the known world. A stone bridge spanning the mighty Ollur Sorleigsverd. The bridge is a mile and a half long and 100 feet high. It is 100 feet wide at it's widest near the ground and is as thin as 30 feet wide at the apex.  The sides of the bridge are clearly marked with carvings that seem to stretch the length of the bridge, but they have been worn over the 2000 years of inclement weather known to Southern Omiralon. 

History

While it's completion date is debated and somewhat obscured, general consensus places its completion year between 1550 and 1500 AoW. It is widely accepted that the ancestors of the dwarves of Kjallaksholl built the Godsbridge, but any organization involved in its construction is not noted in any historical account. Similarly, aside from crossing the wide and often wild river, the bridge's purpose is unknown. This fact is often the source of much debate, particularly given the latent magic that seems to be imbued in the stone of the bridge, and the carvings in its sides. 
Many enthusiastic historians and scholars have attempted to catalog or otherwise study the carvings, but all known attempts have ended either in the scholar abandoning the effort, or in drastic cases, falling to their death due to the high winds that rush past the bridge through the White Forge Mountains Gorge.
