Kaihana

Known to most that know of them as "Sea Elves", the Kaihana are a widespread and enduring civilization in the northeastern sea, north of the Radiant coast.

History

In 487 AO, a large-scale war, the War of Tsulean, broke out with Lamora, City of Theives. The Lamorans sought to expand their influence and holdings, with a key goal of controlling the Northern sea in which the Kaihana reside. The war officially lasted 5 years with the Kaihana eventually rebuffing the pirate City-state, but tensions and the occasional skirmishes have remained since. The official conclusion of the war was in part due to the harnessing of a hurricane which has been magically held in place since 491 AO.
