Mangler

Mangler (missing in Danish) The Mangler is a creature located in the far reaches of Omnia little is known about these creatures as their habit is very harsh and unhospitable to humans but there are stories of these elusive creatures being spotted and seen by the people of Eleodora and Idria if they venture too far into the red forest that surrounds the snowy peaks of petra. They are said to be quite small creatures with 4 beady eyes that glow green, the stories vary as to the colour of the fur covering its body from dark red, green, or black. A few accounts have said that they have very long tails one person has said they have seen the Mangler hanging upside down using its tail. the most famous account of a Mangler comes from a traveler named Emil who made a book named Emil And The Creatures Of The Forest with illustrations and information on creatures found in and around Idrea this book has the only known drawing of a Mangler that depicts and creature with 2 limbs fur of dark red a long tail reptilian wings and a round face with 4 green eyes and long jagged teeth. it is quite a intimidating image but Emil's book also says they are nocturnal creatures that feed off small animals but have a thing for collecting shiny objects and putting them in their home. Most people think this part of this information as being too outlandish but it gets travelers to be more careful with their belongings when near the Red Forest.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Unconfirmed but they have 2 legs long tail red fur with possible liard-like wings a small round head 4 green glowy eyes and lots of jagged teeth.

Ecology and Habitats

Found in the Red forest surrounding the snowy peaks of Petra, by the kingdoms of Idria and Eleodora. The red forest is bitterly cold year round and given its name by the red soil on the ground that only lets the strongest of trees and plants to grow.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They eat small creatures like rodents. Emil claims in his book that they have a habit of picking up/stealing shiny things to put in their homes.

Behaviour

Most accounts of these ceatures are of them being observed at dusk or just after dark high within trees and most people only see there glowing eyes. a few accounts have seen them hanging from trwees by there long tail observing the humans passing close to there home.

Dark red, shades of green or black its belived that there might be multiple types of Manglers but no one can confirm this.
