Founding

The Grand city of Dhelos is the capital and seat of power of the The City State of Dhelos.

It was founded in the 25th of Erastus the year 4535 by the survivors of the Dhelians that fled the grasp of an oppressive empire on the other side of the Great Sand Sea

The Grand City of Dhelos, commonly known as Dhelos is a city of a permanent population of over 14,000 humans mostly Dhelians but its actual population is estimated to be above 23,000 people. The reason for this being the fact that most of its population are merchants and traders always travelling to far away lands.

The city stands at the edge of the Great Sand Sea desert, almost at the point that the Tal'nes River meets the Ashatani River.

The Fortress

The city is a natural and actual fortress. Built between the mountains separating the desert from the plains and on top of the Tal'nes river, it acts as a gate to anything to its west. It's 13 meters high walls have no land gates. The only way in and out of the city are the west and east water gates which are guarded by massive 20 meters high towers equipped with state of the art siege weaponry and not one but two massive steel harbor chains.

The city is filled with canals and gardens

All buildings are made from compact sandstone carved and embelished with all the rooftops made of shined slate while the temples of the city are topped with gold, silver and obsidian.
