Linzi Stormfeather
Linzi originally hails from a small village in Galt, where she was born into a farming community with very low levels of education. She was taught to read by a wandering priest, whose stories sparked her interest in heroic tales and learning in general. Later she would run away from home, joining a book merchant named Tessie the Quill until parting ways with Tessie to study at the Academy of Grand Arts in Pitax.
Linzi has mixed feelings when reflecting upon her time at the Academy- while she remembers several professors as brilliant, she rankled under the restrictions placed upon the faculty and students by Irovetti. It is eventually revealed that Linzi was often bullied by her fellow students. Linzi's time at the Academy came to an end when she was expelled for a book of satirical limericks mocking Irovetti.
Linzi is quick to make friends but she has little patience for bullies and people without humour, she values kindness and she is happy to give it back to those that spread it. She is a follower of Shelyn and lover of all things art. Music, and specifically the lute holds a very dear place in her heart.
Linzi is great with the crossbow and loves to practive whenever she gets the chance, she will not seek a fight and prefers to keep her distance. Linzi feels much safer hidden and at a place that allows her to have a good vantage point ot the action without being close to it.
