Wizards of Katha

According to the Dhelian traders, the Wizards of Katha are a Magocracy that their Mages have tried for the last 6 years to return where they came from and did not succeed   High upon the mountain range of Alidkor Mountain Range lay the arcane fortress of Tallinn. The fortress is the capital city of the kingdom of Katha   The kingdom and the city are ruled by a council of 57 elder wizards led by Archmage Telvin, that draw their powers from the hidden deep in the mountain anima well which their fortress of build upon   The 57 elders were not wizards when their lands were transferred into the Anvil. They were a band of bandits that found the ruined remains of an ancient city and deciphered it’s secrets.   I’m a world without magic even the little power they originally were able to gather became a powerful weapon that allowed them to exert dominance over all others around their lands   They managed to enslave of force I to subservience most of the tribes and villages in the anima bubble of their well and used this power to create and spread rumours of their power to make everyone around them fearful of their powers   The Magocracy of the Wizards of Katha is in direct competition with the dwarven kingdom of Ard Moor. Their territories in the Alidkor Mountain Range overlap and their claims often bring them to clashes that can last for years. Their main issue being the ownership of the mines on the east side of the range.   The Kathians in have established a lucrative relationship with the traders of The City State of Dhelos that allows them access to both slaves and military equipment. The Kathans power their economy by extracting and refining ore into ingots coming from the deep caves in the mountain range.
