Mortis

Geography

Mortis is a ring of debris which surrounds the outer fringes of the Planar Disc. It is made up of the remains of long-dead planes, what is left of what made them up floating through the cold expanse of Esperit, as well as the decaying body parts of ancient giants, and cannot be seen from Vitus. This plane is inhabited by the souls of the damned, flung to the outermost reaches of the Planar Disc to be forever imprisoned and tortured there. It is also the home of many Fiends, who dwell in the Fiend Pits throughout Mortis, fiery chasms in the fabric of Esperit.
