Sepulchrum
Geography
Sepulchrum is the sixth plane from Ignus, and the second from the Roil of Tholas. It is the world of the spirits of the dead, who inhabit its countless moons, which exist in the rivers of swords, weapons, armor, and rubble which flow around the plane in rings, the remnants of ancient battles. On astral journeys, Sepulchrum is a great Necropolis beneath the surface, carved from jagged obsidian and black stone, lit by blue flames and thunderstorms, and is inhabited by spirits and gods of death. It is where dead gods and spirits are entombed.
History
In the Eldest Age, a great war was waged among gods, and countless gods and spirits were slain on field of battle. Sepulchrum became their tomb, and they were interred within Necropolis, watched over by the Grim Sentinels.
