Shoko and her tiger go on adventures up until Shoko's death from the attempted theft of Princess Bubblegum's amulet. Shoko's remains eventually grow into Finn and Jake's future Tree House.

Shoko casually took on the job of stealing Princess Bubblegum's amulet. In addition, dialogue between her and the Bath Boy Gang leader suggested that she had taken lesser, but still similar jobs in the past. Shoko befriends Princess Bubblegum and helps out with the Candy Kingdom to get close to the amulet. Shoko shows signs of guilt over befriending Princess Bubblegum for the purpose of stealing her amulet. She begins to tear up when Princess Bubblegum presents her with a mechanical arm for helping her in the Candy Kingdom. Despite this, Shoko's fear of the Bath Boy Gang forces her to carry out the theft of the Princess's magical amulet. During this theft, she is pushed into a radioactive river and becomes a green, slug-like creature. Shoko dies shortly after. Her remains become the Tree House. However, years after her death, Shoko is able to redeem herself by making Finn return the amulet on her behalf.
