Boréas

Boréas is the Olympian Dynasty's god of winter and the north wind. He is the brother of both Zephýros of the spring blossoming, and Notus of the summer storm. All three brothers are said to be the children of Zeus and Gaia, conceived when the latter was mortal but born after she ascended to Mount Celestia.   Unlike his brothers, Boréas brings no positive aspects to the lands he visits. Neither growth nor change accompany the god of blizzards and brutal cold. He is feared far more than he is worshipped, particularly in the Dovrian Plains and the Ossir Hills, which receive ample helpings of his wrath. In fact, he is sometimes associated with Levistus of Stygia and even Mephistopheles of Cania, similarly merciless lords of cold and desolate places.   Some Storm Giants revere the god Boréas—though Giants, in general, are not known for their piety. Those who do have a deep rivalry with the worshippers of Notus. Their third brother, Zephýros, is almost universally ignored by storm-giantkin.
