Beyond Terra Minerals Conglomerate

BTMC or simply "Beyond Terra" is a conglomeration of interplanetary mining, refining, and other resource companies mostly based out of South America and Africa. BTMC is the largest mining conglomerate in the Solar System and controls more than half of the exploited asteroids in the Asteroid Belt and virtually all of the mining operations on Mars and Luna. BTMC are rather ruthless in economic dealings, and have managed to subsume all but the largest interplanetary mining companies. Learning from the mistakes of some of their predecessor companies, labor disputes and other litigious issues are handled swiftly. BTMC are one of the largest clients for Transnational Aerospace Security Alliance (TASA) protection contracts, accounting for a healthy portion of the TASA developmental budget.
